January is known to mark a new beginning. A new year,new resolutions, and many more news but most important to those of us on this page at the moment will be the expected arrival of the January transfer window around Europe. Clubs, players and fans alike have been waiting on this moment. For a some clubs, a chance to hold on to the momentum built from the first half of the season and for some, an opportunity to start a run. Players who have gotten chances in their present will be looking to find a new home to ply their trade and for fans, it is that month where we hope our beloved managers would bring in the players of our dreams. With this, I know names start to spring out of your head, like a nursery school kid reading out a newly learnt poem to their parents.

Transfers in the past have brought a lot of smiles to our faces and ofcourse disgust at our favourite clubs managers.Nemanja Vidic at Manchester United, Adebayor at Arsenal, Anelka at Chelsea will quickly spring to mind.

I will leave this open to gidilounge followers to tell us which players they will like to be brought into their clubs this blessed month of January. Names like Arshavin(Arsenal),  Ashley Young(Real Madrid), Sanogo(Marseille) have already been part of major transfer talks while some clubs have moved to complete moves. Bridge(Manchester City), Hunteelar and Diarra(Real Madrid) are a few to mention. So go ahead with your realistic predictions as to additions at your favorite club.
